Staying True to You

I've only been on this earth for two decades but I know a lot about "Staying True To Yourself".
This is actually a difficult process. This is coming out of your comfort zone and taking on your role in society. The key word is Maturity.

In this process, you may lose friends. For instance, as a teen, you'd prefer partying almost every weekend. But now, all you want to do is Netflix and stuff your face with the junkiest of foods. You're working or and going to school all week. Staying in most weekends and partying only once in a while is your life now but your friends just don't seem to understand it. You're called weird and lame now. That's not the only the problem, They're not supportive. You're just too different now. That's when the process of  "loving from a distance" comes into play. You don't need to cut them off. You don't want to do that but you have to understand that YOU come first. Your happiness and growth is principle. So wish them all the best and be supportive whenever you can but move on. Find other people that share the same interests you do.
